IORNET is a dedicated web site of the Indian Ocean Rim Business Centre (IORBC) operated by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) with support from the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, to promote business to business linkages and cooperation among the IOR member countries.

INDIAN OCEAN RIM BUSINESS FORUM IORBF
IORBF is the Regional Business Forum of the Indian Ocean Rim Association for Regional Co-operation (IOR-ARC).
IORBF has initiated a number of projects with the objective of expanding and strengthening business co-operation among the member countries of IOR-ARC. These projects cover a wide spectrum of business promotion and facilitation activities, including the organisation of trade fairs, holding of regional conferences and preparation of studies.
The Indian Ocean Rim Business Centre (IORBC) is a project of IORBF implemented by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry with support from the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.
IORBC has set up www.iornet.com to promote business information and provide business to business interaction tools. IORBC also publishes a quarterly information bulletin IOR NEWSLINE and offers business facilitation services.

The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) was established in 1927, on the advice of Mahatma Gandhi, to garner support for India's independence and to further the interests of the Indian business community. Starting with 24 members, the number rose to 103 by 1947. Today with a membership of over 500 Chambers of Commerce, Trade Associations and Industry bodies, it speaks directly and indirectly for over 2,50,000 business units - small, medium and large employing around 20 million people.
